The Dell S28-32GFC-SW-85C is a high-performance 32Gbps SFP+ Fibre Channel transceiver designed for short-range, high-speed data transmission over multimode fiber (MMF). Operating at a wavelength of 850 nm, it supports distances of up to 100 meters on OM4 and 70 meters on OM3 fiber, making it ideal for use in enterprise storage networks and data center SAN environments.This transceiver features a duplex LC connector and is compliant with 32GFC-SW standards, while offering backward compatibility with 16GFC and 8GFC, allowing seamless integration into existing Fibre Channel infrastructure. It also supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) for real-time monitoring of operating conditions, helping to ensure stable and efficient network performance.
