The Dell 407‑10357 is a 10 Gbps SFP+ optical transceiver designed for short-reach Ethernet (10GBase‑SR) over multi-mode fiber (MMF). Operating at an 850 nm VCSEL wavelength, it supports reliable data transmission up to 300 meters on OM3 fiber and up to 400 meters on OM4 with low latency and high throughput. The module is hot-swappable and fully MSA-compliant, ensuring broad compatibility with Dell PowerEdge, PowerSwitch, and networking gear, as well as compatible with many third-party SFP+ systems .
