The Dell is a high-performance, hot-swappable SFP+ transceiver module designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBase-SR) and 10G Fibre Channel applications over multimode fiber (MMF). Operating at an 850 nm wavelength, this module supports data rates up to 10.5 Gbps and delivers reliable short-range connectivity for distances of up to 300 meters on OM3 fiber and 400 meters on OM4 fiber, using a standard duplex LC connector.Built with a VCSEL laser transmitter and PIN photodiode receiver, the transceiver ensures high-speed optical performance with low power consumption (<1W).
