NC5NP Overview

The Dell NC5NP Poweredge M1000e CMC Controller I/O Module Card is a hardware component that provides input/output (I/O) connectivity to the blade servers within the M1000e Blade Enclosure. The card is installed within the CMC module, which is responsible for managing the enclosure and its components. The I/O Module Card features four ports that support 10 Gbps Ethernet connectivity and can be used to connect to external networks or other blade enclosures. The card also supports Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) connectivity, which enables Fibre Channel traffic to be carried over Ethernet networks.
